Brussel Sprouts with FastFx Balsamic Dressing Recipe

If you’re on the FastFx programme & looking to add interest to your 2 cups of vegetables, or if you’re after low calorie additions to your evening meal, below is a delicious Brussel Sprout recipe - using our FastFx Balsamic Dressing - under 100 calories & quick & easy to prepare - perfect for busy week nights.

INGREDIENTS

  • Brussel Sprouts - 1 cup  

  • Olive Oil - 1 tsp

  • Garlic - 1 clove, crushed  

  • FastFx Balsamic Dressing - 1Tbs 

  • Feta, low cal - 3 tsp  

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Chilli Flakes (optional)

 

INSTRUCTIONS serves 1 (100 calories)

  • Heat oven to 180 Bake.

  • Drizzle the oil into a roasting pan & put into oven to warm the oil.

  • Trim the stems off the brussel sprouts & then cut in half.

  • Place brussel sprouts, face down, into the roasting dish.

  • Add garlic.

  • Season with salt & pepper to taste.

  • Bake for 10 minutes, toss the brussels to coat with oil & garlic & bake for a further 10 minutes, until golden & caramelised.

  • Remove from the oven & drizzle over the FastFx Balsamic Dressing.

  • Mix through the feta & chilli flakes, reserving some for garnish - serve warm.
